Thanksgiving Weekend

It's been a good Thanksgiving weekend. It's actually quite upsetting that it's over. It's always hard to go back to school after a break, especially if it was fun one. I wasn't able to make the trip up to Idaho for Thanksgiving with the rest of the fam due to some unfinished homework, one particular visitor, and some big game on Saturday that you may or may not have heard about. Kelli and I had our Thanksgiving meal in SLC at Little America with Grandma and Grandpa Smith. It was fun spending time with them up there. Thursday night I saw August Rush with Sarah and her parents. I was really looking forward to seeing this because I've loved Keri Russell since her Felicity days but I'm not going to lie, the movie was a little disappointing. It did make me want to wipe the dust off of my violin and play it a little. Man, would my mom love to hear that!

On Friday we got a bunch of friends together and headed up to SLC to see the Joseph Smith movie, see the Christmas lights at Temple Square, and grab some dinner. The visitor mentioned above came with and it was a good time. The visitor I'm talking about is the boy that I dated while in Key West. I know all my friends were excited to meet him and so it was fun for them to do that. He has never been out of Florida so the cold was a bit much for him to handle.

Saturday was the day of the big BYU vs. U of U game. Once again, BYU had to take 5 more years off of my life in addition to the 10 that came off during the last minute of last year's game but it was well worth it! We were so excited that we won again and luckily it wasn't too cold outside.

I'm kind of cut off in this picture but this was right after Unga scored that last touchdown. Actually, if we had a video camera to record our reaction, it would be much better. Pretty comical, I'm sure. It's always a good day when the Utes lose, especially when it's to the Cougars!

You're In!

I. LOVE. PROJECT. RUNWAY. It is such a fantastic show and I feel sorry for those of you who don't have Bravo. It's especially good in large doses(marathons). I'm just so glad that it's back on the air and my pathetic tv watching life can be complete.

I'll Miss You!

Today my sister left for Jordan. She's on a flight right now, as I type this, to Chicago with every Osmond imaginable. (I guess they're on their way there for a special on Oprah.) Kelli is going on an Operation Smile mission for 10 days and then she is going to spend a few days in Jerusalem after that. How cool is that? And how jealous are you really? I know I'm jealous. Well, jealous isn't the right word because I'm totally excited for her. I wish I could go with her is what I mean! What an awesome opportunity. Kelli is so amazing and deserves everything and every opportunity that has been given to her. She's one of my best friends and I will surely miss her a lot! The girl she is going with, Tiana, is going to be keeping a blog while they are over there so be sure to check it out. It can be found HERE. Hopefully they will be able to update it pretty often. I guess Microsoft asked her to keep the blog and gave her a laptop to do it. Also, there is going to be a crew from CNN following them around so that'll be cool to see that on the air. Keep Kelli in your prayers. And Happy Birthday to her and Tyler! They turned 18 yesterday. AAGH! That makes me feel so old!
