It's been a good Thanksgiving weekend. It's actually quite upsetting that it's over. It's always hard to go back to school after a break, especially if it was fun one. I wasn't able to make the trip up to Idaho for Thanksgiving with the rest of the fam due to some unfinished homework, one particular visitor, and some big game on Saturday that you may or may not have heard about. Kelli and I had our Thanksgiving meal in SLC at Little America with Grandma and Grandpa Smith. It was fun spending time with them up there. Thursday night I saw August Rush with Sarah and her parents. I was really looking forward to seeing this because I've loved Keri Russell since her Felicity days but I'm not going to lie, the movie was a little disappointing. It did make me want to wipe the dust off of my violin and play it a little. Man, would my mom love to hear that!
On Friday we got a bunch of friends together and headed up to SLC to see the Joseph Smith movie, see the Christmas lights at Temple Square, and grab some dinner. The visitor mentioned above came with and it was a good time. The visitor I'm talking about is the boy that I dated while in Key West. I know all my friends were excited to meet him and so it was fun for them to do that. He has never been out of Florida so the cold was a bit much for him to handle.

Saturday was the day of the big BYU vs. U of U game. Once again, BYU had to take 5 more years off of my life in addition to the 10 that came off during the last minute of last year's game but it was well worth it! We were so excited that we won again and luckily it wasn't too cold outside.
I'm kind of cut off in this picture but this was right after Unga scored that last touchdown. Actually, if we had a video camera to record our reaction, it would be much better. Pretty comical, I'm sure. It's always a good day when the Utes lose, especially when it's to the Cougars!

Tara...um...is that who I think it is? Mr. Key West? :)
Dang staight it feels good! And p.s. I am sitting here at work. Coming back to work SUCKS!
I forgot to tell you that I saw you on tv after the game. They were interviewing someone (you know I'm not a fan) and you were jumping around behind him like a fool. I hope everyone realizes this wasn't your first time on tv...
Tare! Sound like you had a fun weekend...I'm glad Mr. Key West actually made it to Utah. I hope you had a blast. You know I think we need to schedule a little "girl cousin" time with Kelli, you, and my sisters...maybe some weekend where we can meet up shop, catch up and eat good food :)I miss ya tons.
BYU rules!!! My reaction was jumping up and down to the point that I fell into the crowd in front of me, and then pushed into the crowd behind me!! But I loved every second of it!
