Finally...

As I sit here at work, struggling to keep my eyes open because of all the late night studying this past week, I am remembering some of the funny things that happened during finals. Here are some funny finals moments:

Two guys were walking towards the testing center and one said to the other, " Get your game face on!"

Waiting to look at my score I hear the guy next to me say underneath his breath, "Sh**!!". I thought, "That can't be good."

While taking a test, one of the stars of the men's volleyball team, Victor Batista, trys to get past me. In the process he manages to stick his miniature butt on his ginormously tall body in my face. It's just too bad it wasn't Keena Young or Curtis Brown.

I never knew where the "stacks" were at the Harold B. Lee Library. Well, I found them this week. One day, I was studying on the 5th floor on the back wall and I took a break to make a phone call. As I was walking towards the stairs, I glanced down this aisle only to find a couple laying on the ground, making out. Did I stare? You bet I did. Did I laugh out loud? Yup. And I did the same thing as I walked back. I immediately texted my friends to tell them that I finally found the stacks. Not that I ever plan to take advantage of this new found knowledge, but if I ever need to, now I know where they are.

One thing I always find funny is when people just take naps in the middle of their finals. They just collapse there and sleep, mid-test. I just don't think I could do that. I hate the testing center. I don't like being there awake, let alone asleep where I know that everyone could see me. And I know they'd be able to hear me if I were to do anything embarrassing in my sleep. But I guess if you're tired, then you're tired and you need to sleep. Also, I only want to be there for the necessary amount of time. No need to extend that by taking a little nappy in the middle of it.

These weren't the only funny moments during finals and they don't even seem that funny now that I think about it but at the time, they were funny.

One thing about the end of the school year that was quite irritating was how everyone was hooking up. There are approximately 15 couples within my ward, 5 of which have hooked up in the past 2 weeks. I don't understand it. Why do they wait until everyone is leaving for summer break? What is the point? Although, one of my good friends did go on a date last night with the boy that she has liked for a while now. I am so excited for her but I can't help but think the guy is an idiot for waiting until the night before she leaves to go home. Why? I mean, they will be on opposite sides of the country for 4 months. Oh well, I guess. Hopefully something will be able to happen when they get back for school in the fall.

In the end, all I can say is that I'm grateful that school is over. It's a bittersweet feeling though because some of my best friends are leaving for summer, some are already gone. I will definitely miss them. Summer will still be fun though. At least I hope so. I'm no longer going to Hawaii so I've got to get a head start on my tan. One thing I am praying for this summer is normal weather. But I'm in Utah so that means it probably isn't going to happen.

Mr. President

Mr. President, I am sorry, but I have never really liked you. No, I am not talking about President Bush, I am talking about President Logan on "24". What is the
explanation going to be for Logan being behind all the terrorist
attacks? I can't wait to find out.

If you are bored enough...

I received this in an e-mail and did it while I was bored at work. So here ya go.

Four jobs I have had in my life:
1. Dialer at Western Wats - One of the worst jobs ever invented. I only
lasted about 2 months before I took a leave of absence and never went
back.
2. Marketing Team Member for Hogi Yogi- Walking around all summer in the
90 degree heat- I did not glisten, I sweat like a pig.
3. Hogi Yogi- who knew making sandwiches could be so fun. Yeah right. At
least there were semi-fun people there to work with.
4. Accounts Payables Clerk at Clyde Companies- I can describe this job
in 2 words. Lonely and boring.

4 movies I would watch over and over:
1. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days - Matthew McConahey. Enough said.
2. Dumb and Dumber- do I really need to explain why?
3. Save the Last Dance- I don't know why I like this movie so much, I
really don't.
4. Remember the Titans- Denzel is great.

Four places I have lived:
1. Provo, Ut
2. Orem, Ut
3. Provo, Ut
4. I'll tell you one thing, the next place I live won't be in the
Provo/Orem area

Four TV shows I love to watch:
1. 24 - Even with Tony gone I can't stop watching it. It's SO good and
SO addicting.
2. Friends - I've seen every episode multiple times and it still makes
me laugh.
3. Felicity - One of the best shows ever. Not to mention Ben Covington
and Noel Crane. Hello dreamboats!
4. What Not to Wear - Stacy and Clinton are great. I just wish someone
would nominate me for the show so I could meet them. The $5000 wardrobe
would also be a great bonus.

Four places I have been on vacation:
1. Florida/Bahamas - It didn't stop raining until we got to the Bahamas
but it was an awesome trip.
2. New York, NY - If I could live there, I would. I love it there.
Defintetly one of my most favorite trips.
3. Washington D.C.- I got to experience this great place with my one of
my BFF Tawny. We had a blast!
4. San Francisco - It was so much fun to visit here. Also one of my
favorite trips.

Four websites I visit daily:
1. hotmail.com - Gotta check that e-mail.
2. facebook.com - Less trashy version of Myspace. It's true what they
say, it can be addicting.
3. deseretnews.com - I have to get caught up on what's going on in the
world.
4. msn gossip column - Is Britney really pregnant? Where are Brad and
Angelina now? This website answers these all important questions for me.

Four of my favorite foods:
1. Pizza - I'm always in the mood.
2. Mexican - Though it doesn't always do my digestive system well, it
always tastes good!
3. Sandwiches
4. Chinese

Four places I would rather be right now: I did this while at work so
naturally the answers are:
1. On vacation
2. Sleeping in my bed
3. Sleeping in class
4. Sleeping anywhere really

Four things I always carry with me.
1. Cell Phone - but a lot of the time it's on silent so I sometimes
don't answer
2. Chapstick
3. Hair elastic
4. Gum

Well the answer to the title is that I was obviously bored enough. And
hopefully you're just as bored and that is why you are reading this.

Winter Semesteritis

There is approximately only 2 weeks of school left. I can't believe how
fast this semester has gone by. It feels like just yesterday that I was
saying this exact same thing about Fall semester. I am suffering from
what I would like to call Winter Semesteritis. There are only 2 weeks of
school left and then SUMMER. I'm starting to get antsy. I want it all to
be DONE. I just pray that these next two weeks go by just as fast as the
previous weeks have. Though I highly doubt that it will happen.
I'm looking forward to this summer, it should be fun. I was considering
doing an internship for a company called Del Sol. They would send me one
of their exotic locations and I would work for them. But I decided that
instead of me going somewhere awesome for 4 months and making no money,
it would be better for me to stick around here, work, and attempt to
save some money. Also, I'm pretty sure I'm going to move home which
wasn't the original plan. But if I live at home it will help in the
attempt to save money. This doesn't mean I'm not going to take some
vacations this summer. I plan on going to Hawaii as soon as school is
out. Whether it be for 10 days or 14, I am going. Even if I have to go
by myself, I still plan on going. I just know that I need to get away
and why not go to Hawaii when I have a free place to stay? But hopefully
my friends will be able to do it and come with me. This summer looks to
be filled with lots of fun little random trips. This is what has to
happen in order to keep me sane for 4 months of nothing but work.
