Or sick again. The symptoms have totally changed from my last sick post though. I threw up on Sunday and have felt pretty nauseated ever since. It gets real bad sometimes and other times, it's not as bad and I think I'm getting better. I have absolutely no appetite but then I get so hungry I have to eat something. And then I just start to feel sick again. I haven't gone to the doctor or anything because I keep expecting it all to go away! It's pretty miserable though, no doubt about that. I can't even remember the last time I actually felt normal and healthy! I think my body officially hates me.

Out of It
I started feeling sick on Monday night. My body started aching but I wasn't sure if it was just because I'd spent the majority of my long weekend in bed. So I popped a few Ibuprofens and went about my ways. I couldn't sleep that night (something that is becoming more and more familiar) so at about 3 I finally just took some Tylenol PM and was able to fall asleep. I woke up yesterday and felt light headed, achey, and slightly nauseated. This upset me because I had fully planned on going to work and school all day. I made it to work and the feeling got worse and worse. I flinched everytime the phone rang because I just wanted to be in bed. And that's where I headed as soon as I got home. I fell asleep for about 3 1/2 hours and missed all of my classes. When I woke up, it was worse. I took some more medicine and tried to function normally. Easier said than done.
I attempted to go to the basketball game later that night after taking more drugs. Let me tell you, sitting in the student section was a bad idea. I wanted to kill everyone around me with their stupid whistles, yells, and cheering. I mostly just sat there. At one point I got upset about a call and stood up. Bad idea. I about passed right out. Then I continued to boo. Another bad idea. I sat back down. I had absolutely no energy. I decided to try taking some more drugs and get some sugar in me so I walked up the stairs to the concourse. Seriously, by the time I made it to the top, I felt like I had just climbed a huge mountain or something. I was so tired.
We got home at about 11 and I took some Tylenol PM, expecting it to kick in in about 30 minutes and I'd be out cold. I really shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. 12 rolled around and yeah, I felt pretty out of it but I couldn't sleep just yet. I layed in my bed trying to sleep but it just wasn't happening. Then I got the chills. I was so cold. I could not get warm for the life of me! I turned off my fan(which never happens), turned the heat up in the apartment, and added extra blankets but none of it helped! I was feverish and could feel how warm some parts of my body were so I tried to put my hands in those places. Nothing was working. I didn't want to look at the clock because I knew I'd just get pissed. Then I started to cry. I just wanted to sleep! It was the only relief I could get from all the pain and it wasn't happening. I contemplated getting in a warm shower but decided against it. Finally I sat on my floor with my blow dryer in hand and started using the heat to warm up my body. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to leave it on while I slept. So after about 20 minutes of the blow drying, I climbed back in bed. I then looked at the clock. It was 3. I wanted to die. I think I finally fell asleep after about 30 minutes.
Stupid Tylenol PM not working. I woke up today and am feeling the same as I did yesterday. All achey, light headed, feverish, and now my throat hurts. Not to mention it is taking every ounce of energy that I have just to type this out. Mele suggested maybe I have mono. I certainly hope not. I have been getting sick a lot lately but I honestly think that my immune system just doesn't work anymore. Trying to self diagnose I looked up the symptoms for Mono...
Fever? Check
Chills? Check
Sore throat? Check
Swollen glands? Check
Headache and body aches? Check
Lack of energy? Check
Loss of appetite? Check

But I also feel like all those symptoms could go with the flu, which is what I think I do have. Who knows. All I know is I want to cry, sleep, and die all at the same time. That's how sick I feel.

Pure Awesomeness
+
Me: Running around the living room, yelling innappropriate things at a certain someone on the television, even adding a leg kick out of joy

Funniest night of last week.
I'll give you one guess as to why this all happened.

Spent
Or should I choose not to function and go home and sleep?
Not going to lie, I'm leaning heavily(and so are my eyes) towards the second.
What to do, what to do...

Viva La Vida
We arrived at the concert early enough to get our souvenirs. We waited in line and Tawny purchased a shirt while the rest of us poor students got some key chains and posters. Tawny immediatly put on her t-shirt and we headed up to our seats in the upper bowl. As we got right outside of our portal, two girls approached me and asked if they could talk to us for a second. I thought sure why not. As we called back to Tawny to come join us, I noticed that these girls were wearing official Viva La Vida tour shirts and they also had British accents. I thought they had to be legit. Stephanie and Marta asked to see our tickets. We handed over our tickets and they said, "Wow, you really paid that much to sit clear up here?" I immediately thought, "Um...yeah. It's freaking Coldplay."
They told us that they worked for the tour and wanted to play a game with us. At first we were a little sketched out but thought, eh, why not. The rules of the game were that all we had to do was give them our tickets, close our eyes, and put our hands out. In exchange they promised that they would put something in our hands that would be better than the tickets we gave them. I thought, well okay. Something in the lower bowl maybe, who knows. We agreed to play and handed over our tickets. Kelli, Tawny, Sarah, and I all closed our eyes and held out our hands. We all made sure to keep our eyes closed tightly so that there wasn't a chance of losing! They placed new tickets in our hands and said that on the count of 3, we could open our eyes and they would tell us where we were sitting. So they counted...1...2...3 "You're sitting on the 2nd row on the floor!!"
We freaked. And I mean freaked. I screamed "NO WAY!!" We all hugged each other, twice, three times. People stared and we screamed some more. We freaked all the way to our 2nd row seats, which just so happened to be right in the center of the stage as well. I honestly couldn't believe that this was happening.
Rocking our new shirts from the 2nd row.
We got to our seats and looked around and this is basically what we saw. Suckers. :) But seriously, it was so surreal. The only thing I could compare it to was if this had happened to me when I was 12 at an 'Nsync concert. I seriously felt like a 12 year old girl again, minus the tears (although I'll be honest, I came close to shedding a tear). Sarah, Kelli and I decided that we needed to remember this night forever so we went out and got our own shirts. If it wasn't for Tawny's purchase to begin with, this wouldn't have happened so we figured we'd donate as much money to the cause as we could.
We texted everyone we knew, updated Facebook statuses, and waited for Chris Martin to come out and make our year. And that he did. They put on an AWESOME performance that I would give anything to re-live.
Here are some pics from the night:
Me and my boyfriend Chris. He's seriously hot.
Yeah, that's how close we were. Yeah that's his happy trail.
Here's some videos as well:
I have another one I wanted to post but will have to do it later.
